Training on Personnel Hygiene

1.0 OBJECTIVE 

To lay down a procedure for the training programme for personnel hygiene. 

2.0 SCOPE: 

This procedure is applicable to the training programme for personnel hygiene at XXX, Company.

3.0 RESPONSIBILITY

4.0 PROCEDURE  

4.1 All personnel entering into the section shall undergo health examination.

4.2 In any event of illness or injury, the personnel shall report to the concerned Executive.

4.3 The personnel assigned to work in the plant shall maintain themselves clean.

 4.4 They shall keep their hairs trimmed, bearded properly shaved and nails cut and cleaned.

4.5 Keep ears clean, as infected ears could be a source of microbial contamination.

4.6 The use of jewelry, cosmetic, watch etc should be minimized.

4.7 Smoking, drinking, chewing, eating, personal medicines and storage of food items to be restricted to the production area.

4.8 The personnel entering into the section should remove the footwear in the stand provided and keep his belonging in the locker provided to each individual.

4.9 Enter the change room; remove the outside dress in the change room and wear the company provided dress and slippers. Disinfect the hands with solution provided in the change room.

4.10 Then sit on the cross over bench and land on the other side of the bench and enter into the manufacturing and packing area.
